The Bulb Bar

This year we are inviting you to join Kimberley Nurseries in our bulb order. We put this in at the end of June for delivery in mid September. We have used the same supplier for the past 6 years and they are excellent quality.

We have curated the menu based on our experience of planting and growing bulbs. The list could be endless, there are so many beautiful bulbs to choose from, but we hope we have offered a manageable choice that you will love.

There are 2 ways to choose bulbs or indeed any plant. One is to through caution to the wind & just choose based on the picture and then fill in any gaps or move plants the following year. The other is a little more thorough - consider where you’d like to plant them - what height should they be? The Allium Summer Drummer is astounding to watch grow from nothing to 150cm but maybe you don’t want those in your window boxes. Think about having flowers for as long as possible - so look at when they bloom. For example, if you love the white Alliums then choose both Mont Blanc and Everest as then you will have flowers from May to July.

How to order

Please email your order to info@kimberleynurseries.co.uk stating the name of the bulb and the quantity you would like. The price list can be found here and is also attached to the email. We will then send you an email confirming your order and an invoice. You can pay this online or pop by with the money. The bulbs will be ready for collection in mid September.

Last orders

The Bulb Bar closes at midnight on Friday 27th June as we will put our order in on 30th June. So please make sure you order by then.

Alliums

Alliums are some of my favourite flowers to grow from bulbs - they come in all shapes in sizes - from the great big balls of purple flowers, to small white clusters of blooms. They look fabulous in the garden.
